This week's new line dances

These are but a few of the line dances that have come out recently that I like. Each dance is judged (by me) on its own merits and not whether it's on a top ten list somewhere.

First up is Samba del Rio by Alison Johnstone. Alison's dance is a 64 Count, 2 Wall, intermediate level samba rhythm line dance done to the song Brazilian Love Affair by Shakatak. Juliet and her great dancers perform and teach the dance.

Next is a nice little country line dance called Seein' Double. Steve & Denise Bisson choreographed the dance to the song Feelin' Single, Seein' Double by Ann Tayler:

No tags? No restarts? I'm in! Wild Thang, a line dance by Sue Ann Ehmann, is a 32 count easy intermediate dance done to Wild Thang (All Night Long) by Johnny Williams. It's not quite the same "Wild Thing" that you've heard though.

Last (but not least) we have the dance La Llama, choreographed by Maria Maag. Maria's dance is a 64 count intermediate/advanced cha cha line dance, so get your thinking caps ready. The music? La Llama by Chris Ice.

As always, thanks go out to the fine choreographers, dancers, and instructors that make line dancing enjoyable!
